PROJECTS

Luftskip has a diverse portfolio of completed and ongoing projects in several different fields. We have been flying under the name Luftskip since 2025, and the people behind it have been on a journey since 2018 under names such as Spillverket and Luda.

Ledelseskortene

Web application: Tool for leadership and organizational development

“Ledelseskortene” (“Management Cards”), is a web app developed for Kåring Ledelse AS, and is a tool for organizational and leadership development. The app offers an enabling platform for existing tools and processes used in a range of areas within HR and organizational and leadership development, including recruitment, team building, role understanding, personal development and strategy.

Starmasons

Game: independent entertainment game

“Starmasons” is Luftskip’s first independent entertainment game, and is a real-time online multiplayer game in the FPS (first person shooter) genre. The player embodies a living statue among many other identical statues, and competes to be the last man standing while hiding either in the shadows or in plain sight by pretending to be inanimate. The game design promotes alternative player dynamics to what typically emerges within the FPS genre, and offers players lacking FPS experience more ways to compete.

Starmasons is built in Unreal Engine and Blender 3D, and is available on the Epic Games Store from February 2026.

Spillfilter

Art installation: computer game work exhibited at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter

“Spillfilter” (“Game Filter”) was created for the 2020 photo triennial at the art center Henie Onstad Kunstsenter in Norway, and was exhibited in October 2021 (postponed due to the pandemic). With support from Bærum Municipality, the installation was created by Spillverket – a learning arena and game studio project for youth interested in games that was located in Sandvika, Norway from 2018–2021. Participants and project managers created “Spillfilter” together from idea to finished product.

The installation consists of three playable scenes set on photographs from urban spaces in Sandvika, Norway. The scenes are projected on opposing walls, and in the middle of the room, on pedestals, are arcade joysticks that control the playable scenes. Activating the joysticks projects playable games on top of the corresponding photograph, and all games can be played separately or simultaneously. “Spillfilter” shows how the outside world can be playfully observed as canvases for game experiences. As artists, game creators also draw inspiration from everyday life, and the work is a visit behind the eyes of a creative gaze.

Gamification for Pilarr

Pilarr AS is developing a digital process management tool for construction projects. Luftskip AS has provided design input and helped in the exploration of gamification possibilites for the platform – a means to engage users at all levels of construction projects, from carpenters to project managers.

Sjefen 2

Game: web game about leadership and organizational development

“Sjefen 2” (“Manager 2”, working title) is a story-driven game about dilemmas in the leader role. The game is optimized for mobile browsers, and a playthrough only takes ten minutes. The stories in Sjefen 2 are not industry-specific and aim to be recognizable to everyone with managers or middle managers in a workplace. However, the game is also designed to be adaptable to individual companies or industries that want to add tailored story paths. The game is part of a collaborative effort with Kåring Ledelse AS on games and digital tools for leadership and organizational development.

Learning game about CPR

Game: learning game

In 2022, Luftskip AS (then Luda) developed a learning game about chest compressions for Arbeidsmiljøhuset AS. The game is offered to all participants in the customer's digital first aid course. Simulating a selected element of first aid training, the game is easily playable on all devices and has integration with LMS systems (SCORM).

Spillverket

Spillverket was a game development studio for young adults outside of education, training or employment, run by the people behing Luftskip in Sandvika, Norway in 2018–2021. Around twenty young adults passionate about gaming were part of Spillverket throughout the years, and more than half returned to school, pursued further education or found employment following their stint at Spillverket.

The project was funded and supported by a multitude of local actors in the public sector, and served as a pilot in the field of utilizing the gaming interest of youth to learn skills within design, production and collaboration applicable for future education and work.
